Smokefree Hampshire and Smokefree Island: New Smoking Cessation Service Provider

Thrive Tribe, in partnership with Hampshire County Council and Isle of Wight Council, will become the new Smokefree Hampshire and Smokefree Island smoking cessation service provider.

Launching on 1 April 2025, the service will provide a range of tailored support options, including:

·       Digital self-managed video programme – on-demand support with stress management, cravings, and habit-building.

·       One-to-one and group support – in-person or remote telephone consultations with expert advisors.

·       Cut Down to Stop programme – gradual smoking reduction with nicotine replacement therapy and behavioural support.

·       Specialist support – dedicated services for young people, pregnant individuals, and those at high risk of relapse.

·       Support for nicotine-dependent users – includes those looking to quit vapes, nicotine pouches, or other smokeless tobacco products.

All clients will receive quit aids, including free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), such as patches, gum and inhalators, stop smoking medication, or vapes, as well as access to a web app to track progress and receive additional support.

As with all their programmes, Thrive Tribe aims to bring an innovative client-centred behaviour change approach to Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to deliver successful smokefree outcomes for clients.
