Alright, let’s start the day off with a trip out. In the mad rush before leaving the house you grab 5 items.
1) Phone – I mean what world are we in without technology?
2) Wallet – life is expensive..
3) Keys – fairly obvious although the one I’m most prone to forgetting
4) Mask – Covid-life, never know when there’s a need to pop into a shop
5) Reusable Water bottle – hydration is life!
Any of our picks not on your list? We’re here to discuss making the reusable water bottle non-optional in your list of everyday essential items. Not only can they look cool with far nicer patterns than a plastic bottle, they are also more hygienic, and no plastic ends up in your water.
Not to mention the other perks –looking cool, better tasting water, saving money and for those summer months –cold, refreshing water to drink!
If the reasons above haven’t swayed you… here’s the scary part about why we need to use reusable water bottles - Currently, around 38.5 million plastic bottles are used everyday across the UK and 15 million of these are not recycled. However, even if they are recycled, they can take up to 400 years to decompose.Investing in a reusable water bottle will reduce the amount of plastic bottle you buy and will ultimately have a positive effect on the environment. (these stats were taken from July 2019)
Our number 1 tip for helping the environment is swapping to a reusable water bottle. Consider how many bottles you’d save!
